Homeland tour itinerary

Well, I am going to post our itinerary for our upcoming trip to China from Aug. 3-29, 2007. We will be leaving on Aug. 3.
Aug. 4-arrive in Beijing, stay at the Jianguo Garden Hotel
Aug. 5- Orientation in the morning. Children fitted for Cheongsam. Visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City in the afternoon
Aug. 6 -Visit Bridge of Love Adoption Services for a brief Chinese History and Language lesson. Go to the Summer Palace in the afternoon
Aug. 7- Watch the national flag raising ceremony in the early morning. Then learn Tai Chi in a local park. Visit the China Children's Centre and participate in arts and crafts according to each child's interest. Visit the zoo to see the Giant Panda
Aug. 8- Travel to Jinshanling Great Wall for a hike. Go to Chengde, Hebei Province
Aug. 9 -Morning tour in Chengde. Then back to Beijing to transfer to train for overnight trip to Xi'an.
Aug. 10- Arrive in Xi'an. stay at Grand New World Hotel. Tour Terra Cotta Warriors Site. Enjoy a performance of the Tang Dynasty and a dumpling banquet in the evening.
Aug. 11- Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Xi'an Ancient Rampart. Visit Muslim market in the afternoon.
Aug.12-Families move on to either Beijing or to Provinces
