Day 4, Part 2 - ChengDe

After we finished at the Great Wall we headed onto the bus for another 2 hour drive. The scenery was incredible and amazing.
We arrived at our hotel and went for dinner then it was off to just take a walk outside.
We are all looking forward to a visit to the Mini Putala Palace in the morning and then back on the bus to Beijing. We will be going out for Peking Duck and then onto the train to X'ian which is overnight so no more posts until X'ian.

Wow Shauana! So amazing!!!! We look forward to seeing what you two are up to everyday...Have a safe trip and enjoy the duck...of course Matt says, "that's not duck"
The pics of the wall were amazing so much more than what we saw last time, can't wait to hear more about everything when you get home. Miss you, love you and think of ou everyday!

I'm jumping in on your adventures during your homeland tour. What an amazing time you're both having. I love all the pics. Brenna thinks the squat toilets would be a lot like the outhouses we dealt with at Lake Superior Park. Can't wait for the next post. I'm taking it all in for when we travel. I've been behind in checking out my favorite blogs. I just got all caught up on your trip.
You guys are obviously having an AMAZING time. This is such an awesome trip for MacLean...it looks like she is having a ball! All the planned activities for the kids look like so much fun.
I'm so impressed that you got to meet with the CCAA director. You will have to fill me in later about the group you are traveling with. I would LOVE to do this with Lauren when she's old enough...I guess we have to actually get her first though!
Please tell MacLean that I said hello and that I'm happy to see her having SO much fun!

I can't believe your trip - each day seems more awesome than the next. We're enjoying all the pics and your descriptions of your trip....even the squat toilets!!:-) I guess they're good for your leg muscles!!???
I can't wait to hear about your time in Xian. I'm sure it will be breathtaking like all the rest has been. What an amazing experience for you and MacLean.
