We are in Beijing!

Wow, what a great 24 hours we have had, We arrived this afternoon to very overcast skies. Our guide Martin picked us up and took us to the hotel. I met Joyce from the Hope Foster home and we were able to give her the stroller, and two huge bags for her to take so we didn't have to lug it around. Things here in China have changed, it has grown in buildings, more cars and more people. MacLean has already had people speaking to her in Chinese and she is very, very shy. She was great on the plane , she slept for 6 hours and then we watched movies, ate three hot meals and snacks and played monopoly, uno and sorry. I was also able to doze and read while she slept.

Our plane was a 747 with 10 seats across and there were a total of 130 people on board so we had loads of room. We are off to have the girls fitted for dresses and then pizza for dinner. I will post pics later. Thanks for checking in.
